Profile:

Michael D. Sargent, a July 2002 graduate of the University of LaVerne College of Law, is a member of the California Bar and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Central District of California. While in attendance at the College of Law, Michael participated in many leadership roles. He was the Student Bar Association Vice-President, an Officer of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, a brief writer and coach of an award-winning national moot court competition traveling team, and a member of the Pomona Unified School District Peer Court program.

Michael Sargent was born and raised in Southern California, attending San Diego State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration. While attending San Diego State University, Michael interned with the Citizens’ Law Enforcement Review Board. While attending the College of Law, he interned with the Anaheim City Attorney, where he conducted detailed research.

Michael’s primary focus is in the area of general civil litigation. However, he is also interested in Entertainment law, Real Estate law, Real Property law, Commercial law and Civil Litigation. He is currently seeking positions within a firm or practice that will enable him to expand his knowledge and build an expertise in the field of civil litigation.
